keeping track of Athena - Updated 09/02/13

This post is just to keep track with my progress on Athena. Expect that I will be updating this post whenever Athena and I had a major, major bonding time. :P

September 2, 2013 - You can already see the second pillar here and a small portion of Athena's hair on the second quadrant. What made me happy here is the circle with a ribbon-like accent on the center. You might think it's boring to stitch because of the brown threads used. It was fun working on that part of the design for me. I don't plan to start on Athena's face and arms yet. I usually work on the face and arms last.

diy inday stitches again

I started to stitch again just recently... which means I welcomed back my "hermit" tendencies by being anti-social at times when I just can't put my project down. I already have a few finished projects hung in my parent's house. I've been meaning to take pictures of them and will really do when I visit them again. Hehe.

So here's my progress with my Mirabilia-Athena. I started this last 2010 or 2011 and then just 2 weeks ago, we met again. :P You know... I got busy with the wedding stuff...

sakura, here we come!

Just sharing my happiness today because we already got our visas for Japan. Yey!

We are sooo looking forward to travel again. Last year, we didn't get to travel even locally because we're saving up for the wedding. The visit to Japan will be our honeymoon trip. Yiiii!!!

And we are just so excited to see cherry blossoms! Can't wait to be in Tokyo next week. :)

Of course, we would like to thank Friendship Tours for a hassle-free visa application.

remembering the march

Up to this day, I can still remember what transpired in the end-of-the-world-slash-our-wedding day. While I was at the St. Benedict Church courtyard waiting for my turn to walk down the aisle, I became really emotional.
